01 — Services
What we do,
and what we keep apart.
Nine services for agricultural bulk cargo, at vessel, barge, silo and truck. Six are inspection and verification, three are interventions. We keep them apart: a surveyor does not check their own work.

Inspection and verification
We establish and certify: how much, what, in what condition. We do not touch the cargo.
Quality and quantity inspection
Sampling, sealing, supervision and reporting for wheat, maize, barley, rapeseed, sunflower seed and soyabeans — at vessel, barge, wagon, truck or silo.
Hold and hatch inspection
We inspect the holds before the cargo goes in: cleanliness, dryness, odour, residues, paint, hatch covers, infestation.
Sampling and laboratory services
We draw, seal and dispatch the sample to third-party laboratories. We answer for its journey from the cargo to the certificate.
Draft survey and stock monitoring
The quantity from the vessel's draught, with the whole calculation in the report. Sea-going vessels, barges, convoys. Plus stock counts in silos and warehouses.
Collateral management
Verification of stock pledged for a loan, monthly, with a report to the bank. For borrowers using the commodity as security.
Loading and discharge supervision
A surveyor on the quay from the first grab to the last, with an operations log. Reports daily and at the end.
02
Operational services
We act on the cargo or on its documents, on request, under a written mandate kept separate from inspection.
Fumigation and pest control
Pest treatment of vessels, barges, containers and warehouses, by a GAFTA approved fumigator.
Delivery-note exchange
The truck is at the port. Its paperwork has to change now, not on Monday morning.
At vessel loading
Grain coloration
Marking the grain with dye, with our own sprayer, at the dosage required by the buyer or the country of destination.
Why two categories
A firm that fumigates or colours a cargo and then certifies its condition is checking its own work. We do not do that. When the same parcel needs both an intervention and an inspection, we write them as two separate mandates, with separate documents, before the operation starts.
