Sampling and laboratory services

We draw, seal and dispatch the sample to third-party laboratories. We answer for its journey from the cargo to the certificate.

← All services

A certificate is worth as much as the sample it came from. Our part is the sample: drawn to the rules, divided correctly, sealed, labelled and dispatched in time. Analyses are done at accredited laboratories — a GAFTA or FOSFA analyst where the contract requires one.

What it covers

  • 01Sampling and sample preparation to GAFTA 124 or ISO 21294
  • 02Moisture, test weight, foreign matter, broken kernels, protein, gluten, falling number
  • 03Oil content, free fatty acids, impurities in oilseeds
  • 04Mycotoxins, pesticide residues, GMO, at accredited laboratories
  • 05Sealed counter-sample, kept for three months

How it goes

  1. We agree the parameters and the laboratory.
  2. We draw and seal in front of the parties.
  3. We dispatch in time: 14 days under GAFTA, 48 hours under FOSFA.
  4. We receive the certificate, check it against the sample, send it to you.

What you receive

The laboratory's analysis certificate, with the method, the seal number and the link to the vessel, hold or lot of trucks. On request, a certificate of quality issued by KRM on the basis of it.

Questions about this service

Do you have your own laboratory?

Not for now; it may follow. The sample goes to a laboratory accredited for the parameter requested.

How long do the analyses take?

As a guide: moisture, test weight and foreign matter the same day; protein and gluten one day; mycotoxins and pesticides 2–5 working days. We confirm when ordering.
